Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain pushchair with light weight and excellent maneuverability. The compact fold that can be folded with just one hand makes it simple to carry. It also stands on its own when folded. The padded seat reclines into a nearly flat position, and there is a large canopy and storage bin. Newborn suitability? Yes, with an additional carrycot.
A good suspension with air-filled tires will help you navigate through rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you should wait until the baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba Air
This light pushchair made by Ickle Bubba has a lot of features that parents will love. The travel system includes an adjustable carrycot that can be folded flat for infants as well as a dual-position rear and forward facing pushchair seat.
The XL Air is a very impressive buggy. It's easy to understand why it's received praise from its customers. It's extremely light-weight - the wheels and chassis weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very easy to assemble. I was able get it up and running in less than five minutes - which is remarkable considering it also includes attaching fabric for the carrycot.
The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie who is 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of space, and I like that the handle bar features an area to keep your keys and phone secure.
The only slight downside is that the handlebar is low, which could be a problem for taller parents. It's covered with a soft, comfy leather-like material, and is easy to wipe down.
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is made for sporty parents who are eager to go out and explore. Its large pneumatic wheels are designed to be used on field and forest paths and the front wheel can be swivelled and locked to give you more flexibility. It also comes with a cushioned 5-point safety harness as well as a front bar to ensure your child is safe on all trips while the parking brake effectively stops the stroller from moving even when you take a break. The comfy seat is easy to recline to a comfortable lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal with netting to ensure maximum air circulation during hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 cm to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.
The Runner will accompany you on any adventure whether it's a short walk, a longer hike or a long-distance trek. It has a fully-flat lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels to ensure an easy ride. The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.
Some parents have found the Runner 2 to be a little more difficult to navigate than its predecessor and the locking system is less user-friendly (requiring two buttons on each side of the push bar). The handlebars are a bit higher than the ones of other competitors, so they might not be suitable for shorter parents. However, this stroller is sturdy and versatile and should be considered for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me Pace
Red Kite's Pace is a top product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are known for their simple, well-designed products that are essentials for parents. It's the most recent - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller collection. It's also like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible which means you can use it right from birth (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace has some amazing design elements, like the rose gold tint of the hood, chassis and stroller trims to really set it apart from its competition. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are elegant and there is an option to add the leather handle for the cover and bumper bar, too.
It's suitable from birth to a max weight of 22kg. The stroller seat can easily be converted from the carrycot to the 2-in-1 reversible mode. It can be parent-facing or world-facing. The stroller seat has multi lie-back positions, softly padded leg rests and has an extendable sun canopy with concealed zip sections, viewing see through flap and a retractable sun visor section.
When folded, the Pace measures 56 33cm x 43cm x 32cm which makes it suitable for hand luggage on Easyjet and Ryanair. It's also a breeze to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar that just need to be pressed in and pop up.
Bugaboo Fox 5,
Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair, Bugaboo's new Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel width that makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two kids - a toddler and an eight-week old - across the rocky roads, grassy woodland walks and even cobblestones.
The wheels that are puncture-proof are large with a diameter of 22cm and 30cm therefore they are able to handle all kinds of terrain. They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air to circulate when you require it and is a nice addition. It's a bit bigger than most pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when pushing over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric can be machine washed and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also much quieter than some pushchairs, and I felt confident using it in busy city streets. 3 wheel pushchair comes with accessory points, so you can attach footmuffs and parasols along with changing bags as well as snack trays and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block wind and rain, although it isn't particularly waterproof. The single pram can be outfitted with the Comfort Wheeled Board (not included), which gives your child more leg room. It took about 20 minutes to assemble the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to transform it into the seat.
UPPAbaby Ridge
No matter if you prefer running in the morning cool air or a moonlit stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a shared adventure. This all-terrain jogging stroller is designed for maximum performance to keep your child and you both active.
The massive 12" and 16" foam-filled tires offer an easy ride, regardless of the terrain. The suspension technology is patent-pending, allowing you to glide over woodland paths with minimal impact on your child's legs and rear. The durable performance disc hand brake allows you to stop quickly, even when jogging downhill.
The Ridge is at home in all city scenes including bustling farmers' markets to the street musicians performing music. The large basket is able to hold everything you need and market purchases, while the large canopy offers protection from the sun and wind. The front canopy can be removed to reveal two mesh peekaboos that allow you to keep an eye on your baby.

The Ridge's reversible seats allows you to choose whether your child is facing you, or the world ahead. Its simple foot brake system makes it easy for new parents. The reversible handlebar on the back is a great feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. The Ridge's fold, in contrast to many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.
iCandy Core
The new iCandy pushchair is packed with features that will impress parents. It comes with a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light that is an industry first. It has a built-in Ride-on board which helps save on future costs and lets tired toddlers accompany the family on outings.
The Core is available as either a travel system or single seat. It works with most popular car seats, including the ones from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It also has the largest seat unit in the iCandy range, which means it will last you through your baby's early years and beyond. It's a beautifully designed pushchair that has premium knitted fabrics. The child's bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support that folds away is also very comfortable for children.
It was amazing how quickly it folded and collapsed, even with the seat unit attached. It's also easily tucked away in your hallway and boot which makes it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, like an iCandy Core-branded changing rucksack and footmuff/liner.
